Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint

The southern-inspired cuisine restaurant evokes a chic, local swagger as a sophisticated, modern, and festive dining experience with a reverence for the culture of the historic Juke [Jook] Joints of the 1900-1950s. The Juke Joint is fast becoming the must-see venue for live blues, jazz, and R&B. The design consists of reclaimed wood flooring, contemporary lights with a nostalgic tone, and multi-color L.E.D. lighting that changes with the day and the rhythms of the music.
Some materials used to create this contemporary rendition of the backwoods watering holes are brick, stone, recycled wood and metals, recyclable zinc, corrugated tin, and burlap wall coverings. The seating was made of sturdy, lightweight aluminum, which is smart and comfortable. Finally, a jukebox allows patrons to play their favorite tunes from the '40s, '50s, '60s, or their favorite genre.

Michon's Family Restaurant

Michon's is a family restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere sought out by weary travelers. It has familiar surroundings that work harmonically as a repose' for good food and familiar, natural finishes. The restaurant was made with brick walls, for familiarity and warmth, stone, and wood finishes. Michon's Family Restaurant's colors will make one feel they're in a familiar place. Its lighting is inviting, with a modern mixture of compact fluorescent and L.E.D. lights. Also, casual fabrics are used on metal chairs with padded seats.

Jekyll Island Seafood

The international traveler seeking an experience unique to the coastal waterways of Georgia has found her haven. This "new world" design embraces the yesteryear memories of historic Jekyll Island. Large colorful digital displays define the chic restaurant via the use of a large projector on glass panels that pivot for multiple effects. Integrated into this theme are reclaimed driftwood and recycled steel from retired fishing boats.
Lighting "ribs" flank the glass walls with internal L.E.D. lighting that may change upon command. This seafood restaurant will offer the best of Georgia's seafood and an opportunity to have a Mint Juliep while overlooking the international travelers while perched on a terrace. The design captures more of historic Jekyll Island's earthy, natural side. However, it also taps the benefits of modern technologies and finishes, state-of-the-art L.E.D. lighting, and tensile roof forms as fishing boat metaphoric sails brought to life through projected images from Jekyll Island's coastal waterways.
This concept will establish itself as a must-dine destination for international travelers seeking a uniquely Georgia, USA experience.
